Greetings! My name is Ryan Aiello (@ryanaiello) and I am the Dean of Student Development at Portland Community College (PCC), Rock Creek and a current Doctoral student in Pacific University's Education & Leadership program. I have spent my entire professional career in Student Affairs, most recently at Portland Community College, but also some seasons at Pacific University, Eastern Washington University, and Washington State University. Both my undergraduate and master degrees where in the fields of Psychology and Counseling. I'm interested in many areas, but find it most fascinating looking at systems, organizational structures, and individual and group development, all with a lens of equity and inclusion. In my other buckets of life, I spend time with my Wife, our four boys, and three dogs. We tend to be running to our next kiddo extracurricular event, spending time on the Oregon Coast, or hitting the nearest Portland Metro sporting event. I am also very involved with the Portland music scene and many circles within the West Coast.
