Introductory Video: An Overview of Left-Hand Techniques Teaching Concepts
Objective:
In this module, students will learn the pedagogical and teaching principles needed for teaching foundational and advanced left-hand techniques.
Student Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this module, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge, understandings, and skills related to teaching foundational and advancing left-hand techniques
- Apply learned knowledge, understandings, and skills to their own teaching and playing
- Evaluate and synthesize gained knowledge on teaching left-hand techniques in accordance to several string pedagogy approaches/methods into a comprehensive and coherent entity of knowledge that is supportive and responsive to teaching string students at various levels of development and in various learning settings
